Licensed Psychotherapist – Military Trauma Care
Job Overview
To provide professional, evidence-based psychotherapy and trauma-informed care for active-duty service members, veterans, and their families of the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies. Specializes in treating PTSD, combat-related trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, and family relational issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional psychological assessments and one-on-one psychotherapy sessions.
- Implement evidence-based treatments including CBT, EMDR, trauma-focused therapy, and stress reduction interventions.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for trauma recovery, mental wellness, and life transition.
- Provide family therapy and relationship counseling when needed.
- Collaborate with peer support specialists and case managers for integrated care.
- Maintain clinical documentation, ethical standards, and strict client confidentiality.
- Participate in case supervision, professional development, and program improvement.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Psychology, Clinical Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Valid professional license or certification in psychotherapy or counseling.
- Demonstrated experience in treating military trauma, PTSD, and veteran mental health issues.
- Knowledge of military culture and veteran mental health needs of the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies.
- High emotional stability, empathy, and ability to support clients with severe trauma.
- Unwavering commitment to clinical ethics and client confidentiality.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
