Job Overview
Provide professional interpretation, strategic analysis, and decision-making support for Indo-Pacific defense policies to active-duty military members, veterans, and their families from the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allies. Deeply analyze regional security dynamics, alliance cooperation mechanisms, and defense resource utilization pathways to help target groups understand policy frameworks and grasp career opportunities in the defense sector.
Core Responsibilities
1. Track and analyze the latest geopolitical, defense policy, military deployment, and alliance cooperation trends in the Indo-Pacific region, and develop regular policy briefings and strategic evaluation reports to provide accurate decision-making references for service recipients.
2. Interpret Indo-Pacific defense-related policies, regulations, and welfare systems for active-duty and retired personnel from the U.S. and Indo-Pacific allies, and answer core questions such as policy application, qualification review, and resource application.
3. Provide career transition policy guidance and path planning for retired military personnel in fields such as defense industry, security consulting, and military cooperation, based on regional security needs and the characteristics of U.S. and allied military services.
4. Participate in the design and optimization of policy-oriented service projects in the Indo-Pacific region, cooperate with defense cooperation institutions and allied organizations in the region, and expand the coverage of policy consulting services.
5. Assist internal teams in conducting policy research, analyze the impact of Indo-Pacific defense policies on the employment and welfare security of retired military personnel, and put forward suggestions for service improvement.
Qualifications
1. Active-duty or retired military personnel from the U.S. or its Indo-Pacific allies (e.g., Japan, South Korea, Philippines, etc.), or have served in corresponding national defense departments/defense agencies engaged in policy research, strategic planning, defense cooperation, and other related positions.
2. Have more than 3 years of relevant work/research experience in Indo-Pacific defense policies, be familiar with regional security patterns, alliance system operation rules, and the logic of defense policy formulation.
3. Have a deep understanding of the mission system, skill characteristics, and career transition needs of the U.S. and Indo-Pacific allied military services, and can accurately match policies with personal development.
4. Possess strong policy analysis, writing, and oral expression abilities, and can translate complex policies into easily understandable guidance plans.
5. Proficient in English; multilingual skills (e.g., Japanese, Korean) are preferred. Strictly abide by confidentiality principles and professional ethics.
