Job Overview

 

As a policy coordination link between the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allies, focus on cross-domain policy cooperation (such as defense and people's livelihood, national defense and employment, regional security and veteran security, etc.), provide policy coordination scheme design, cross-region policy communication and docking services, and help active-duty and retired military personnel from the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allies enjoy integrated policy support.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

1. Coordinate and analyze the policy differences and convergence points of the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allies in fields such as veteran security, national defense employment, and regional security, and design cross-domain policy coordination schemes to reduce policy barriers among allies.

2. Provide cross-domain policy consultation for active-duty and retired military personnel from the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allies, and answer relevant questions such as cross-region employment policies, veteran security issues, and mutual recognition of rights and interests.

3. Dock with multiple parties such as U.S. and Indo-Pacific allied defense institutions, veteran affairs departments, and cooperative enterprises to build a cross-domain policy communication channel and promote the intercommunication of policy information and service coordination.

4. Track the trends of cross-domain policy cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region, optimize the content of cross-domain policy consulting services based on the institutional service positioning, and improve the coverage and coordination efficiency of service coverage.

5. Participate in the landing and execution of cross-domain policy cooperation projects, provide professional policy support, and ensure that service recipients can smoothly enjoy cross-region policy welfare.

 

Qualifications

 

1. Active-duty or retired military personnel from the U.S. or its Indo-Pacific allies, or have served in the U.S. and its Indo-Pacific allied defense institutions and cross-domain cooperation departments, and be familiar with the operation logic and cooperation procedures of cross-domain policies.

2. Have work experience in cross-domain policy coordination in the Indo-Pacific region (defense, people's livelihood, employment, security, etc.), and be familiar with regional policy cooperation mechanisms and the needs of all parties.

3. Possess strong cross-departmental communication, coordination, and negotiation capabilities, and can efficiently dock with multiple institutions in the U.S. and Indo-Pacific allies; proficient in English; multilingual skills are preferred.

4.Have a macro policy vision and detail control ability, balance the needs of multiple parties, and design feasible cross-domain policy schemes; strictly abide by confidentiality principles and professional ethics.
