Job Overview

 

Focus on the policy security and career transition needs of Indo-Pacific veterans from the U.S. and its allies, provide cross-regional policy interpretation, rights and interests maintenance, and career development consultation, build a docking bridge between veterans and regional policy resources and employment opportunities, and help veterans smoothly achieve the transition from barracks to society and protect their legitimate rights and interests.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

1. Provide full-process policy transition consultation for Indo-Pacific veterans from the U.S. and its allies, covering core policy contents such as retirement resettlement policies, welfare subsidies, medical security, educational preferences, and vocational training.

2. Track and update the dynamic changes of veteran policies in various countries in the Indo-Pacific region, timely transmit information on policy changes to service recipients, and assist them in completing policy application, qualification review, and rights and interests application.

3. Provide career transition planning oriented by Indo-Pacific employment markets and defense-related industries for veterans, including skill transformation, job matching, and entrepreneurship support directions.

4. Dock with veteran affairs institutions, allied cooperation organizations, and corporate resources in the Indo-Pacific region to build a service channel for policy consultation and resource docking, and improve the efficiency of policy implementation for veterans.

5. Collect pain points and needs of veterans in policy application, feedback to institutions and relevant policy institutions, and participate in the optimization of policy services and the feedback of policy suggestions.

 

Qualifications

 

1. Active-duty or retired military personnel from the U.S. or its Indo-Pacific allies, or have served in the veteran affairs departments/defense security institutions of corresponding countries, and be familiar with the veteran policy system and protection procedures.

2. Have work experience related to Indo-Pacific veteran policy research, resettlement security, or career transition, and understand the policy differences and cooperation mechanisms in the region.

3. Possess empathy and communication skills, and can accurately grasp the policy needs and psychological demands of veterans; proficient in English; bilingual in allied countries' languages is preferred.

4. Meticulous and rigorous, with policy interpretation and document processing capabilities, and can provide accurate policy guidance for service recipients;认同 alliance values and institutional service concepts.
