Indo-Pacific Political & Strategic Affairs Analyst–Now Hiring


Job Overview

 

To analyze geopolitical trends, Indo-Pacific security dynamics, and alliance policies; provide policy consulting; and deliver career guidance for active-duty military and veterans of the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies. This role helps translate military experience into civilian and defense-related employment opportunities.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Monitor and analyze geopolitical developments, regional security trends, and alliance relations in the Indo-Pacific.

- Provide policy consulting and strategic assessments to support organizational planning and services for beneficiaries of the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies.

- Offer career transition counseling for military personnel of the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies, including skill translation, employment trends, and defense-sector opportunities.

- Prepare analytical briefings, reports, and guidance on international security and veteran employment landscapes.

- Support program design by linking global security context to career pathways for veterans.

- Research laws, policies, and industry trends affecting veteran employment and professional mobility.

- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance career support and transition preparedness services.

 

Qualifications

 

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in International Relations, Political Science, National Security, Public Policy, or related field.

- Experience in geopolitical analysis, defense policy, political risk, or veteran transition consulting.

- Deep understanding of military structure, skills, and civilian career translation for the U.S. and its Indo‑Pacific allies.

- Familiarity with Indo-Pacific security alliances, regional politics, and defense industries.

- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; ability to simplify complex information.

- Background in career counseling, employment consulting, or veteran services is a strong plus.

- Active-duty or veteran status from the U.S. or its Indo‑Pacific allied nations is highly preferred.

- Fluency in English; additional languages are desirable.

- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
